This robe is part of a limited-edition collection for SS18, featuring a bespoke print by artist Tom Gallant. Expertly printed onto Italian silk in Como, Italy, the design takes inspiration from the tropical island of Réunion, as well as drawing on the works of post-Impressionist artist Henri Rousseau. The print has a rich colour palette that incorporates deep blues and golds and features bold foliage, vibrant birds-of-paradise, and delicate butterflies. It also celebrates the ethereal beauty of the ‘golden hour’ – the time shortly before sunset or just after sunrise. Gallant’s artwork brings the outside world in, creating a dreamlike quality that perfectly encapsulates Morpho + Luna’s underlying aesthetic.
